Theresa’s new role

I don’t think anything has been put on the website to congratulate and welcome Theresa into her new role, so here it is with a stonking great photo taboot. Doesn’t she look like a pro!

On the Silver Screen

SLATE have made a couple of movies recently.  We were so lucky to receive help from students on the Media Journalism course at Leeds University.

One film is about Christmas so we may as well keep that wrapped up in tinsel until next year but you can find the other two by following these links: This link will take you to a short film explaining who we are and what we do. This link will take you to a film we made about our new relationship with John Lewis

We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we did making them!

SLATE’s New Partnership

As one of SLATE’s objectives is to help long term unemployed get back into the workplace we have decided to partner with the REED Work Routes Programme which does just that. People who have out of work for a period of time will get the opportunity to come to SLATE, develop skills and build confidence to get them back into a paid job. Below we can see Neil and Jon who went to the launch of the programme last week and told everyone of the good work that we do.
